Veterans Memorial Coliseum

50 2nd Ave Bridge, Cedar Rapids, IA, 52401

The VMC has and continues to be portrayed as the main image used as a  backdrop of Cedar Rapids seen across the world. Since 1927, the building has been a staple of our community hosting many organizations, City Departments, local Veterans clubs, and now a popular rental venue for a plethora of events. The Building's historical roots were built deep and it is the VMC staff's honor to facilitate exhibitions open to the public that contain a variety of items donated or on loan to the VMC museum collection.

We would not have a roller derby team without skaters! If you make it into the league, you will be required to attend two weekly practices and team functions, as well as pay monthly league dues and purchase your own equipment, merchandise, and liability insurance.

Be an Official!

These positions do require some training, which we can and will provide. Keep an eye on the website to find out when we are holding open calls for refs and officials. For either position, you must be 18 years of age or older, and for referees you will need basic skating skills.
